Dr. Fahmi Mohammed Al-Senani
Consultant
Dr. Fahmi M. Al-Senani is a senior interventional neurology consultant, and has a special interest in stroke and interventional neuroradiology. With an experience of more than 25 years, he has also held senior level administrative positions in clinical care and medical education. Dr Al-Senani has also contributed to the local scientific literature in stroke neurology, as well as training residents and fellows.
Dr Al-Senani, completed his medical school at King Saud University in Riyadh, then did his residency at Georgetown University in Washington DC, followed by a stroke fellowship in Vascular Neurology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas, USA. He later completed an interventional neuroradiology fellowship from Oxford University.
Dr Al-Senani has been practicing in Saudi Arabia since 2002.
Dr Al-Senani has been leading many national programs that have improved stroke care quality throughout the Kingdom, that have led to improved stroke patient outcomes.
