For all planned cases, Customer service executive shall inform you a day prior on date and time of arrival.
Rights
- To be informed of all patient rights and responsibilities governing patient conduct in an understandable language.
- To expect his/her customs, personal values, beliefs and dignity to be respected.
- To have his/her personal privacy respected.
- To have reasonable help in case of disability.
- To receive equal care with respect.
- To expect that all communications and records pertaining to his/her medical conditions will be handled confidentially and to be protected from loss or misuse.
- To receive truthful information before or during admission when his/her needs excess the hospitals capability for care.
- To receive care in a safe and secure environment free from theft or loss.
- To be protected from abuse or assault especially infants, small children, disabled individuals and the elderly across the hospital.
- To receive complete information about the diagnosis, proposed treatment, potential benefits, potential complications of different treatment options and prognosis of his/her case in a language and terms that he/she can understand to make informed decisions.
- To fully understand the consent form prior to the start of specific, non-emergency medical procedures or treatment and to identify his designee incase of disability to sign the informed consent.
- To participate in all aspects of his/her medical care including discharge planning and receive reasonable continuity of care after discharge. To have family members involved in care decision as appropriateز
- To have a written consent prior to photography especially the face.
- To refuse diagnostic procedures and treatments offered after the consequences of refusal have been explained.
- To know the name and qualifications of individuals involved in the service he/she receives.
- To request the doctor of his/her choice upon admission, and to ask for a second opinion.
- To be notified in case if transfer from one consultant to another is required.
- To acquire a prompt and reasonable response to demands, needs, or questions.
- To have appropriate and timely assessment and management of pain.
- To be informed and assisted for the initiation, review, and resolution of complaints.
- To express his/her wishes concerning tissue and/or organ donation.
- To know if medical treatment is for purposes of experimental research and to give his consent or refusal to participate in such experimental research.
- To receive an explanation of any financial statement relating to treatment or service.
