Dr. Abdurrahman Al-Qahtani

Consultant in Cardiology & Advanced Interventional Cardiology

Dr. Abdurrahman Al-Qahtani is a consultant cardiologist specializing in advanced interventional cardiology, with particular expertise in complex coronary interventions, catheter-based valve repair, and structural heart disease without surgical intervention. He provides comprehensive care for both common and complex cardiovascular conditions using state-of-the-art, evidence-based technologies.

Following graduation, Dr. Al-Qahtani worked in Canada for three years as a consultant cardiologist, where he was involved in advanced interventional cardiology and non-surgical structural heart programs at the University of Northern Ontario. He later relocated to Saudi Arabia, serving as a permanent consultant at King Fahad Medical City. He also served as President of the Cardiology Society for four years and has supervised the acute myocardial infarction program in collaboration with the Saudi Red Crescent for the past seven years. He currently supervises the cardiology care pathway within the Second Health Cluster in Riyadh.

Dr. Al-Qahtani is a well-recognized speaker in cardiovascular medicine and has delivered numerous lectures at national and international conferences across Saudi Arabia, the Gulf region, Europe, and the United States. He is widely regarded as one of the leading figures in his field within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
